Watch this Amazing Video of Scotty's Dog "Max" Growing Old - His Life Journey in under 60 Seconds.
Max Loved every living thing.
He truly was a "dog enigma", humble and respectful of other dogs, loving of all humans and, he spread his love and joy freely and charitably.
We will miss you Max.
We brought Max home from a local family, that owned a Bichon / Lhasa Apso Bitch, they bred with a local Shih Tzu Male. We think this was in 2006, which makes sense from the older pictures I found of him, and from the keen memory of my Eldest son. That makes Max 15 + Years old on the day of his death (Wednesday, December 8, 2021), may he rest in peace.
Max lived a solo life with his chosen family (Scotty's Family) until he was about 11 Yrs. old. Then, much to his surprise and chagrin, Jasper arrived. A rambunctious puppy and very active young dog, Jasper kept Max busy, and always on-guard, looking over his shoulder, never knowing when the next Max attack will take place. Rest easy my friend, Jasper will catch up to you in a few years.
Max was a loveable, harmless soul who started his early life with us by getting run over by a big 4x4 Pick-up truck. He obviously survived, only some road rash and a hard knock on the noggin.
Max was a Mommys boy from day one, he sucked up to my wife from the second he met her. I remained number two in his book; that was okay by me, I loved him just the same.
